Psychic identical twins, one who is a paraplegic, work with the FBI to zero in on a psychopath who has murdered his wife in California and a teenage girl in Colorado. The antagonist's character and actions mirror parts of a true story that I followed closely in the past.

I stepped into the den, dropped my briefcase to the floor and noticed my husband standing in the middle of the room. He had a weird smirk on his face.
"John, what's the matter?"
"I know about you and Sam."
The room seemed to become warm and my legs were weak. I clutched the back of a chair hoping I looked relaxed, but I knew my knuckles were white. "S . . . Sam? Who's Sam?"
